Arab Beekeeping Association announces:
Sheikh/ Salem bin Sultan Al-Qasimi Award for the development of the Arab bee industry
 Within the activities of the Fourth International Conference
16 - 19 july 2022
In conjunction with the launch of the 14th International Honey Festival
15 - 29 July 2022
which is held under the patronage of HRH Dr.
Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
Prince of Al Baha Region
Baljurashi Governorate – Al-Baha Region – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Prizes include:
-    The award for the best innovation in the field of bees
-    Best Bee Practices Award
-    Best applied scientific research

First: award for the best innovation in beekeeping and honey production:
The award:
First place : 7500   SAR
Second place : 5500   SAR
3rd place : 3750   SAR

Conditions for the award
1. Submit a detailed report on innovation not exceeding 5 (A4) pages
2. Provide illustrations or a video showing the innovation and its results
3. The innovation must not have received any previous awards in the world
4. The innovation in the field of beekeeping and honey production should be new or modified, but not fundamentally modified
5. The deadline for receiving reports is May 31, 2022 
Entries in a report containing photos and videos should be sent to the e-mail: Technical@apiarab.org

Innovation Award Criteria:
1. That innovation serves the development of the bee sector
2. Originality of innovation
3. Ease of application
4. Innovation results
5. That the innovator or researcher be able to present all aspects of innovation in a clear manner and the areas of its uses and application.

Second: the Best Practices Award in Beekeeping:
The award:
First place : 7500   SAR
Second place : 5500   SAR
3rd place : 3750   SAR

Conditions for the award
1. Submit a detailed report on practice not exceeding 5 A4 pages
2. Provide illustrations or a video showing the practice and its results
3. That the practice is new in the field of beekeeping and honey production, or that the practice exists, but it has been fundamentally modified
4. The practice should not have won any previous awards in the world
5. The deadline for receiving reports is May 31, 2022

Criteria for selecting winners:
1. Ease of application
2. Modernity and originality
3. Scalable and upgradable
4. It is built on sound scientific foundations
5. The materials used to implement the idea and its relationship to the environment
6. Impact of practice on beekeeping and honey production
7. The Impact of practice on workers in the bee sector
8. Clarity of results

Third: awards for the best applied scientific research in bee sciences:
The award:
First place : 7500   SAR
Second place : 5500   SAR
3rd place : 3750   SAR

Conditions for the award
1. Provide an integrated version of the scientific research
2. The research should be new in the field of beekeeping and honey production
3. Authenticity and clarity of results
4. The research should not have won any previous awards in the world
5. The last date for receiving the research is May 31, 2022

Criteria for selecting the best applied scientific research:
1- The clarity of the title and its relevance to the content of the search
2- Professionalism in presenting previous studies, and benefiting from them in reaching a solution to the problem in question
3- How to present the research hypothesis, its susceptibility to research, analysis and presentation of the research objective properly
4- Application of scientific protocols in collecting samples, methods, tools and devices used in conducting research
5- The statistical programs used, and the extent of benefit from statistical analysis in clarifying the results
6- The modernity of the references, their comprehensiveness, the style of writing the research, and the quality of the research summary
7- The applicability of the results obtained
